Simple Jewellery Care Guide

Jewellery Care

Get the most wear from your jewellery by following our simple jewellery care guide.

Storing your jewellery

To protect your jewellery, store it in its original box or soft lined pouch to prevent pieces being scratched or tangled.
Ideally, store silver pieces in an airtight container to help reduce tarnishing.

Cleaning your jewellery

Using a soft, lint free cloth is an effective way to keep silver, gold and vermeil jewellery looking shiny and lustrous.
A silver cleaner can also be used to clean sterling silver jewellery.
Avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals such as bleach, chlorine and cleaning detergents.
Do not use tissue paper, paper towels or any other abrasive materials to clean fine jewellery as they can cause scratching.

Reducing wear and tear

- We recommend removing jewellery when you shower or bathe and particularly when in chlorinated water.
- Avoid spraying perfume or applying lotion directly onto your jewellery. Wear your jewellery after applying lotion or perfume.
- Avoid leaving your jewellery in direct heat or sunlight or it may fade in colour.
